Scheduling and Administrative Inquiries
Clients are strongly advised to contact me directly for ongoing scheduling communications such as scheduling, rescheduling, cancelling, or administrative questions. I can be reached via email and phone number provided at intake or the client messaging platform. You can also manage your appointments there. More information about BYTC’s attendance, scheduling, and cancellation policies can be found here.
Therapist Communication
Direct communication with me outside of scheduled sessions should be limited primarily to scheduling-related concerns. I do not engage in clinical discussions, therapeutic interventions, or crisis support outside of scheduled appointments. If you have a clinical concern, please address it during your next session or schedule an additional session if you are a parent of a child client. If your child is my client, I may send brief updates or resources via secure messaging portal, but in-depth responses, parenting skills/strategies, and/or questions will need to be addressed in a parent consultation session.
Response Time Expectations
My goal is to respond to emails, voicemails, and secure portal messages within 24-48 business hours.
Emergency and Crisis Situations
I do not provide emergency mental health services. If a client is experiencing a crisis, they should contact 911, go to the nearest emergency room, or reach out to your local crisis number or 988. More information on this can be found in my Emergency & Crisis Policies here.
Inappropriate Communication
Clients are expected to use approved communication channels professionally and appropriately. Harassment, excessive messaging, or other forms of inappropriate contact may result in termination of services. Social media, personal phone number, and informal messaging platforms are not appropriate methods of communication.
Social Media/Other Online Communication
Due to the importance of your confidentiality and the importance of minimizing dual relationships, I do not accept friend or contact requests from current or former clients on any social networking site (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc).
